Scientific and practical seminar on May 16, 2019. "Modern technologies of industrial production of milk and feeding of highly productive cattle"

On February 27, 2020, an inter-university scientific and practical conference "Innovative methods of biotechnology of reproduction of agricultural animals" dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Academician V.F. Kovalenko

Participants of the conference are Poltava State Agrarian Academy, Ukrainian Medical Stomatological Academy, Poltava National Pedagogical University, Institute of Pig Breeding and Agro-Industrial Production of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine.

Also, with the aim of improving the training of higher education seekers, the issue of creating an "Educational-scientific center for innovations in agro-industrial production" was discussed between the Institute of Pig Breeding and AIP of the National Academy of Sciences and the Faculty of "Technology of Production and Processing of Livestock Products".

The National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine announces a competition for the position of director of the Poltava State Agricultural Research Station named after MI Vavilov, Institute of Pig Breeding and Agro-Industrial Production of the National Academy of Sciences (36014, Poltava Region, Poltava City, Shvedska St., building 86).

Citizens of Ukraine who are fluent in the state language, have a scientific degree of Doctor of Science or Doctor of Philosophy (candidate of science), have at least 10 years of experience in the positions of scientific workers and (or) scientific-pedagogical workers, in particular work experience in in management positions for at least 5 years, and are specialists in the main field of activity of this scientific institution.

Coordination and methodical council

On November 1, 2019, a meeting of the coordination and methodical council for the implementation of PND 30 "Innovative technologies of breeding, industrial and organic production of pig breeding products" ("Pig Breeding") was held at the Institute of Pig Breeding and AIP of the National Academy of Sciences with the participation of Academician of the Secretary of the Department of Animal Husbandry O.M. Zhukorskyi.

At the meeting, they listened to the annual reports of managers and responsible executors of PND 30 tasks, approved the composition and work plan of the coordination-methodical council for the first half of 2020.

On October 4, 2019, an All-Ukrainian scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 135th anniversary of the founding of the Poltava Experimental Field was held on the basis of the Poltava Agricultural Research Station named after M. I. Vavilov of the Institute of Pig Breeding and APR of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. "From history to modernity"

Representatives of scientific and educational institutions, as well as managers and specialists of leading agricultural formations from Poltava, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Volyn and the relevant regions took part in its work.

The conference was opened and led by the director of the Poltava State Agricultural Research Station named after M. I. Vavilova (PDSGDS) A. V. Kokhan.

On behalf of the Presidium of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, the doctor of agricultural sciences, professor, academician of the National Academy of Sciences warmly congratulated the participants of the conference on the almost anniversary date of the station. Honored worker of agriculture of Ukraine, director of the National Scientific Agricultural Library of the National Academy of Sciences, founder and head of the Institute of History of Agrarian Science, Education and Technology of the National Agricultural Research Service of the National Academy of Sciences, V.
