In order to introduce into the educational process of training applicants of the third (educational-scientific, level of higher education) specialty 204 Technology of production and processing of animal husbandry products, the practice of involving professionals - practitioners and scientists in classroom classes, on October 18, 2021, a meeting of first-year graduate students took place with Professor Svitlana Voytenko, employee of the Institute of Animal Breeding and Genetics named after M.V. Zubtsia of the National Academy of Sciences, who, in the context of the study of the discipline "Modern technologies of production and processing of livestock products", gave a lecture on the topic "Innovative systems of production of dairy and meat livestock products", during which she familiarized those present with methods of keeping dairy and meat cattle and modern equipment for milking cows and processing products. A lively debate ensued regarding the best breeds of cattle for production, as well as the use of imported stock.

In the context of compliance with the normative legal acts of Ukraine in the field of higher education and science, as well as the Statute and Regulations on the system of detection and prevention of academic plagiarism of the Institute of Pig Breeding and Agricultural Production of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, academic secretary Maria Ilchenko at the beginning of the educational process (September 15, 2021 of the year) familiarized first-year graduate students with the need to observe academic integrity, the requirements of scientific ethics, proper citation of the texts of scientific works, and respect for the intellectual property of the scientific community. Special emphasis is placed on the mechanism of checking scientific works for the presence of signs of academic plagiarism using the anti-plagiarism program available at the Institute and assessing the level of originality of the scientific work.

On September 10, 2021, a scientific-information day was held for high school students of secondary schools in Poltava city. The Head of the Laboratory of Scientific Research and Innovation Marketing, Oleksiy Saglo, and the research associate, Tetiana Konks, spoke to the students about the biological characteristics of pig organisms, as well as other agricultural animals. They provided examples of scientific achievements by the institute's staff and their implementation in production practice. The students were also introduced to the exhibits of the institute's museum.

On August 19, 2021, a training seminar was held for biology teachers of secondary educational institutions from different regions of Poltava region. The participants of the seminar were introduced to the achievements of the scientists of the institute in matters of breeding, selection, genetics and feeding and maintenance of pigs, as well as the peculiarities of their biology. The teachers also visited the museum of the institute, where the head of the laboratory of scientific research and innovation marketing Oleksiy Sahlo familiarized them with industry exhibits and the history of the creation and functioning of the scientific institution.

In order to improve the quality of training of graduate students in the specialty 204 TVPPT, ONP guarantor Vasyl Voloshchuk, members of the project group Serhiy Smyslov and Lyudmila Hryshina, stakeholder Tetiana Konks and academic secretary Maria Ilchenko on May 20, 2021 reviewed in detail the comments and suggestions received from interested parties in the process discussion of the project of the educational and scientific program, recognized that most of them are correct and should be taken into account in the latest version of the program. Special attention was paid to elective disciplines, the acquisition of pedagogical skills by future specialists, the change of names of individual disciplines, approaches to teaching and evaluation of educational disciplines, the division of competencies into integral, general and special, academic mobility of graduate students, harmonization of the institute's web page, etc.

On January 18, 2022, the election of the director of the Institute of Pig Breeding and AIP of the National Academy of Sciences was held. Scientists of the institute supported the candidacy of Oleksandr Mykolayovych Tsereniuk and voted for him unanimously.
