Scientific cooperation

The Institute is the coordinator and the main breeding and genetic center of the pig industry in Ukraine.

The Institute carries out scientific research in close cooperation with industry institutes of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences, breeding farms, higher educational institutions of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and the Ministry of Education and Science.

Within the framework of international programs and agreements, the Institute cooperates with foreign scientific institutions, conducts joint research with interested companies and associations from Germany, Spain, Poland, Belgium, Hungary, and China, participates in international scientific projects, conferences, seminars, and symposiums, and exchanges scientific and technical information.

Offers services on breeding, feeding, technology, reproduction, and keeping pigs, carries out scientific and methodological assistance to enterprises of various sizes and forms of ownership in developing issues of effective production of pig products with scientific support of technological and other developments.

The Institute operates a postgraduate course in animal breeding and selection (06.02.01).
