Review by the editorial board and the appointment of a reviewer


1. The chairman or deputy chairman of the Editorial Board analyzes the manuscript for content, relevance to modern science, and appoints a reviewer who is a member of the editorial board. It is also possible to involve specialists with an academic degree of at least PhD/Doctor of Science who have experience in this scientific field directly.

2. The reviewer is sent an article with a review form. The reviewer may refuse to review if he considers his qualifications to be insufficient or inconsistent with the research direction. After notification of the refusal, another reviewer is appointed.

3. In case of agreement on the review, the reviewer provides an answer (approximate term of consideration of the article – 14 calendar days). The review is sent to the editorial office in written or scanned form.

4. The reviewer discloses the positive aspects of the research and its shortcomings, in particular regarding the following issues: the correspondence of the title of the article to the content; determining the informativeness of the abstract and the relevance of the research topic; whether such sections as materials and methods of research, research results, conclusions are sufficiently disclosed; whether the list of references, tables, figures meet the Submission guidelines; whether statistical data processing is complete; whether the scientific style of presentation of materials is maintained. The review ends with general comments, recommendations, and remarks of the reviewer.

5. If, in the reviewer's opinion, the article needs revision, it is sent to the author for correction. The identity of the reviewer is not disclosed!

If the author disagrees with the reviewer's opinion, he must provide a reasoned response. The editorial board reserves the right to send the article to another reviewer or reject the author's comments after listening to the reviewer's opinion. When communicating with the reviewer, the author must respond in detail to the reviewer's comments in the cover letter, and mark the corrections in color in the electronic version of the article.

The final decision on the content of the issue is made at a meeting of the Editorial Board of the institution.
