The publication "Pig breeding and agroindustrial production" (ISSN 2786-7730 Print) is the successor of the interdepartmental subject scientific digest "Pig breeding", which was published from 1966 to 2022. In 2023, the content of the publication was expanded and its name was changed.
As a printed means of mass information, the digest was registered by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and issued a Certificate of State Registration: Series KV No. 25401- 15341PR dated January 3, 2023.
The scientific profile of the publication is the coverage of scientific-theoretical and practical aspects of the field of animal husbandry, therefore, original experimental works, review articles on the topical issues of animal husbandry, in particular pig breeding, the fodder production, mechanization, agroecology, the land reclamation, processing and the storage of agricultural raw materials and other zootechnical, biological, veterinary scientific and practical aspects of the agroindustrial production, as well as short messages in Ukrainian and English. According to the priority scientific directions, the subject sections are distinguished: "Biodiversity and ecological problems of nature management", "Technology of production and processing of livestock products", "Veterinary medicine, biosafety and animal welfare". The important significant and memorable dates are presented in the section "Anniversaries".
The scientific content of the digest has been assigned the international digital identifier DOI (Digital Object Identifier). The individual prefix of the institution in the Crossref system is 10.37143.
