Born on November 5, 1976 in the village of Pisky, Romensky district, Sumy region, into a family of farmers. In 1996, he graduated with honors from the Khomutek Veterinary and Zootechnical School, majoring in zooengineering.

In 2002, he graduated with honors from the Zooengineering Faculty of the Poltava State Agrarian Academy (now Poltava State Agrarian University). In the same year, he entered graduate school at the O.V. Kvasnytskyi UAAS (today it has the status of the Institute of Pig Breeding and Agro-Industrial Production of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine) in the specialty 06.02.01 - animal breeding and selection.

In 2009, he defended his PhD thesis on the topic "To study the effectiveness of using Ukrainian meat breed pigs as a maternal form in purebred breeding and crossing" and received the scientific degree of Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, and later the academic title of Senior Research Fellow in the specialty 06.02.01 - animal breeding and selection.

He began his scientific activity in 2002, holding the positions of junior and senior research fellow of the pig breeding and selection laboratory, head of the scientific and production department of the institute, head of the laboratory of environmental safety in animal husbandry. At the same time, since 2013, he has served as the secretary of the specialized academic council, the head of the commission on social insurance and temporary disability at the Institute of Pig Breeding and APV NAAS. He takes an active part in the training of scientific personnel. Scientific research work is focused on preserving and improving the productive qualities of domestic meat breeds of pigs, as well as developing methods for improving the adaptive properties of pigs in industrial farms. Responsible for three scientific topics of the institute.

He has more than 130 published works, including 4 textbooks, 5 methodological recommendations, 50 patents of Ukraine for a useful model, 2 certificates of copyright registration for a work. He was awarded Honorary Diplomas and the medal "100 Years of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine".
