On October 26, 2021, a scientific and practical conference of young scientists and graduate students with international participation "Problems of breeding, genetics, reproduction and production technologies in animal husbandry" was held at the Institute of Pig Breeding and AIP of the National Academy of Sciences, dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the birth and 67 years of production, research, pedagogical and public activities of Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Valentyn Pavlovych Rybalko.

Based on the results of the speeches, the best reports were determined:

1st place - Matiyuk V.V. "Relationship of mitochondrial DNA and its effect on pig meat quality parameters".

2nd place - Sayenko A.M. "Using productive features of genes of telomeric DNA and telomerase complex as a DNA marker".

3rd place - Khotsenko A.V. "Using the probiotic "Multibacterin veterinary Bs + La suspension" for the prevention of calf diseases."

The first place was awarded with a financial incentive.
