From November 13 to 15, 2012, the delegation of the Institute of Pig Breeding and APV of the National Academy of Sciences visited the international specialized exhibition "EuroTier-2012" in the city of Hanover (Germany), which was organized by the German Agricultural Society for the Technology of Animal Husbandry and Management in Animal Husbandry DLG (Deutsche Landwirtschafts -Gesellschaft) .

The specialists of the institute got acquainted with the latest technological equipment, genetics, means of production and service services for professional animal husbandry. Particular attention was drawn to the innovations of machine equipment and means of distributing fodder for pigs of various production groups, equipment for conditioning and ecological safety of animals, technological support for the disposal of solid and liquid manure, systems and means of herd reproduction, production, storage and evaluation of the quality of fodder, bioenergy and decentralized energy supply, systems of information support in the field of pig breeding.

Creative cooperation agreements have been concluded between the Institute of Pig Breeding and APV and foreign firms producing technological equipment for the pig breeding industry.
