         There were depicted the pages of history and scientific achievements of the Pig Breeding Institute named after O.V.Kvasnitsky of National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine during 80 years of his activity.

There  was given the science-production approaches of an organizing of local systems of a pork production on the hybrid base in the conditions of that or another region/ Three degrees form of the using of a genetic potential of different breeds of pigs the basis of system.

To take into consideration modern achievements of the biological science it was given a precise substantiation of terms “crossing” and “hybridization” which are used practice and these concepts are classed thoroughly.

There were adduced new principles of estimation of pigs of foreign selection in conditions of large scale pork production in industrial complexes.

Yu.I. Shulha, A.M. Masliuk. Efficiency of the Introductory Crossing.

 

The results of crossing  breeds of pigs of the Ukrainian Steppe White and the Large White (English selection) are expounded. It is set that the sows of  the Ukrainian Steppe White in combination with the male hogs of  Large White breed have better indexes of reproductive qualities that of the pure bred breeding and cros gilts prevail the analogues in growth, development and earliness.

         There were presented the results of fattening and meaty qualities of new genealogical structures in the Poltava meaty breed of pigs.

         Breeding farm lines, fattening, meaty qualities, the Poltava meaty breed, landrace, precocious meaty breed.

Bankovska I.B., Getia A.A., Kaniuka E.Y., Lesna T.N. The valuation of a level of the conductivity of a muscular tissue of different pig genotype.

The adapted methods of an express-valuation of the quality of meat maturation of pigs at the index of an electric conduction is presented in the article. It is determined that the intensity of leading of an electric current by the muscular tissue gives possibility to characterize a direction of passing physical, chemical and biochemical prosses in pig carcasses after the slaughter. It is shown graphically that the conductivity  of a muscular tissue depends on a degree of carcasses blood draining, regime of their cooling and the size of muscular fibre first all. It has been found out the own optimal level of dynamics change of conductivity during the maturation period in different muscles of  carcasses.

V.M.Balatsky,L.P.Gryshyna,L.I.Vozniyk Prolactin receptor gene polymorphism in pig populations of different genotypes and its relation to reproductive traits of sows of Large White breed.

The results of study of prolactin receptor gene Alu 1-polymorphism in populations of pigs of different breeds are presented. It is estimated possibility of its using as a genetic marker of reproductive traits in sows of Large White breed.

A.M.Saenko, V.N.Balatsky, O.S.Dykan.Polymorphism of locus insulin growth factor 2 in pig populations of direction of productivity.

Tere were presented the results of DNA – typing by gene like insulin growth factor 2. Allocation of alleles and genotypes, heterozygosis level is established, carrying out possibility marker selections is estimated.

I.K.Lyadskiy. Current knowledge and prospect use MC4R and HMGA1 genes for formation meat and feeding pig’s quality.

 The review of modern achievements in research of  hmga1 and mc4r genes which influence formation of a fatty tissue and regulation of a feeding behavior of pigs is made in the publication . The prospect of application of these genes in marker selections is analyzed.

It was studied the influence of fermented fodder additions which were produced on the base of effective microorganisms on indexes of blood which characterize the carbohydrate, energetic and minerals metabolism in the organism of pigs and the contain of separate ferments and vitamins, too. The essential action of effective microorganism which are in the composition fodder additions on the biochemical blood status of animals of research groups was been determined.

It was studies the peculiarities of a determination of the sex behaviour and activity in imported replacementive young boars of the four breeds (pietrain, jorkshir (large white), duroc, landrace) which are different for the types of the highest nervous activity with the purpose of an effective accustoming them to the pig phantom. It has been found out the essential ethological differences of males of the different breeds of the Spanish selection of sperm. The new technical approach relatively the using of conventional and unconditional reflexes in the pig reproductive technology was suggested.

It was studied the biochemistry composition of semen plasma and native semen. It has been determined the separated different peculiarities of research biological animals at the composition of components in them.

S.A. Semenov, Z.G. Trotsenko, V.A. Karpynchyk. New native probiotic „Bionorm-K“ for effective piglets production.

         There was studied the effectiveness of usage of native feed pre- and probiotic “Bionorm-K” in feeding latescent sows and piglets and after theirs weaning, with watching the consequences of the preparation till age of 70 days.

O.I. Pidtereba, S.Yu. Smyslov. Balanced ration is a deposit of profitability in pig breeding.

Using of computer technique and developed software give possibility to count quickly variants of job in enterprises of pig meet production at using rations of different levels in balancing. Without preliminary estimation of economic expediency of conducting pig breeding branch, investment, deposited in branch, can not be actually compensated.

M.V.Kozlovskaya, O.I.Kravchenko, A.A.Getya. The use of an experience of countries – members of WTO at the formation of national system of electronic registries in commodity and pedigree stock – breeding.

The legal demands of EU relatively a realization of an identification system, a register and a control for the movement of animals were analysed in the article. It was determined that the use of an experience o advanced countries relatively a quality and a safety of live – stock production must increase the competitive ability of Ukrainian stock-breeding on the world market.

O.M.Chekhlatyi. Bondarenkos O.P. contributionto the development in science about feeding pigs.

The article deals with the main trends in scientific work in the industry of feeding pigs of prominent scientist in Ukraine O.P. Bondarenko.  His role is shown as an organizer and direct performer, of systematic approach to pigs feeding which is first held in Ukraine and who made great contribution to the development and formation of the studies about feeding.

Through impressions of experiencing coworker of branch institute, numerous instances of creative relations, taxing  into account lab our family traditions are presented. It is stressed significance of stat potential in achievement of results in scientific activity.
