V.M.Volochyk, М.G.Povod. The efficiency of using modern technological equipment during the period of  growing of  weaned piglets

It was studied the dependence of growth speed and food consumption per   growth gain of piglet from the using technological equipment with different  designing features during the growing period.  It was determined that using modern technological equipment with combination of thoroughgoing feeding  and highly productive pig genotypes allows to get high  criteria of   piglets  productivity during growing. The difference  of designing features of premises for piglets at growing   didn’t   have  significant effect on  their growth speed and feed efficiency.

Is given the analysis of the state and development of pigs production in the World, continents and separate countries. Is shows number of livestock  the total production of pork and pork production per resident. Given structure and meat production forecasts for rise, in production perspectives. Shown comparative evaluation of pork production in Russia and other countries. Directions of improvement of animal feed and the further development of pig industry are detected.

I.P. Sheyko. Today and tomorrow of Belarusian Pig Breeding

The article describes the pig breeding system. If the republic switches to this system it will receive 5.5-6.0 million of competitive hybrids with high fattening and meat traits while reducing the cost of dry feed to 2.6-2.8 kg per 1 kg of weight gain. This will ensure the production of 550-600 thousand tons of pork.

Economic effect of high-tech innovation while reducing unit costs will provide additional 100 thousand tons of high quality pork for the amount of more than 300 billion rubles.

V.O. Ivanov, M.Yu. Ivanov.Characteristic of technical means of mixing manure flows and liquid manure on the pig complexes

  The problems of an utilization of manure flows on pig complexes are lit up and it was researched the technological indexes of different types of mixers for the homogenization of manure flows and liquid manure (hydraulic pressure, labor capacity, energy capacity,), the quality of a homogenization by them of manure flows (achievement and maintenance of the maximum stability, area, volume configuration “dead” zones. By reason of carried out researches it was given peculiarities of the homogenization of manure flows at different systems of manure removing, types of mixers, sizes of reservoirs and the contain of solid fraction in manure flows.

It was determined that under conditions of hydro flush system and the presence of big reservoirs (diameter is more 12 m, volume is 500 – 10000 m3) which are used on the stages of a preparation and transporting manure flows with the concentration of solid fraction 0.5 – 2% with the aim to get certain parameters  of their stability (within the confines of 80 – 90%), a fast term of the achievement  of certain stability (to 10 min) and average significations of energy capacity and labor capacity of mixing. It is reasonably to use mechanical screw high rotation and hydraulic stream with horizontal flow mixers with the same maximum hydraulic pressure.

Under conditions of the self-flowing system and the presence of small and middle reservoirs (diameter is to 12m, volume is to 500 m3), which are used on the stages of a preparation and transporting of manure flows with the concentration of solid fraction 2 - 6% with the aim to get certain parameters of the stability of flows of the solid fraction (within the confines 90 -100%), a fast term of the achievement of certain stability (to 10 min) and the smallest significations of energy capacity and labor capacity of mixing. It is reasonably to use mechanical spade low screw middle rotation mixers with the maximum diameter of the flow.

Mazan'kо M.O. Taste and slaughter qualities of pork received under the conditions of free walking housing

Now there is observed raised demand on high-quality pork, that is why it is important not only to grow the percent of meat in the carcasses of pigs but also improve high-quality indexes which have a decision role at making of wares of meat in the conditions of processing enterprises.

In the checking system of meat quality and meat products’ system, next to the determination of physical and chemical, biochemical and technological indexes, an important place belongs to the visual estimation. Exactly it stipulates the basic question of quality - or the got products answers to the necessity of a man? The visual estimation allows simultaneously and quickly to get the whole complex of indexes which not always it is possible to get by laboratory methods.

Rearing pigs with the use of the free walking system positively influences on the meat-fat qualities of fattening animals as compared to traditional technology of pork production which presently is the basic requirement of meat remaking organizations and commodity producers. Meat products of animals reared at different technological conditions, differed between itself for a food value.

The got results testify about the high food value and the attractiveness for users ecologically save products.

Animals, reared by ecologically a save method differed from animals reared at the traditional system of housing by the raised taste indexes and the consistency of the boiled meat.

It is well-proven that, pork is reared in the conditions of free walking housing, has better expressed taste and consistency, and it satisfies the necessities of buyers and attracts them.

N.V. Chernyi, A.V. Mitrofanov, A.A. Mitrofanov, S.A. Basko.Swine youngsters resistance witn the use of antistress and stimulating preparations in optimal microclimate conditions

Comparative estimation in use of anti-stress and bio-stimulating preparations on suckling piglets of various genotypes – White Breed and White Landrace Breed has been given. Influence of biological preparations: gamavit, katozal and tymogen on natural resistance and productive indices of swine at uniphase growing in comparative aspect have been determined. The state of natural swine resistance with various abiotic agents (temperature, humidity, group keeping of milking sows with piglets) on dynamic of live weight and growth intensity (average daily gain), morphological (erythrocytes, leukocytes), biochemical (total protein, albumins, ?, ?, ?-globulins), humoral (antibacterial and lysocim activity of blood serum) and cell indices of protection (phagocyte activity of neutrophils, phagocyte index) have been studied. Gamavit, as biological stimulator, increases BASK, LASK; it also influences as detoxicanting and stimulating action; it stimulates swine body weight increase, increases their stress resistance.

Katozal shows stimulating action on metabolism, increases organism resistance in stress, leads to the growth and development of animals.

Tymogen, as a biocorrector, consists of glutamic acid and tryptophan, induces the formation of protective functions in piglets with diarrheic syndrome, and preserves organism homeostasis and biochemical indices.

Voloshchuk V.M., Khalak V.I., Zamikula V.V. Fattening and meat qualities young pigs different origin using traditional technology content

   Тhe indexes of fattening and meat qualities of sapling of pigs of large white breed of the Danish origin and animals of analogical genotype of the Ukrainian selection are studied in the conditions of traditional technology of maintenance.

   It is set that the sapling of pigs of large white breed of the Danish origin exceeded the persons of the same age of the Ukrainian selection on by the average daily increase of living mass on 5,6%, on age achievements of living mass 100 kg - on 4,09%, on the charges of feed on 1 kg of increase of living mass - on 3,95%. On meat qualities a reliable difference is set on the thickness of lard at the level of 6 - 7 pectoral vertebrae - 9,54%   (Р>0,99), areas "Muscular peep-hole" - 8,35%   (Р>0,999) and to the index of fattening and meat qualities - 11,58%   (Р>0,999). Distribution of sapling/pl of pigs on classes on the index of fattening and meat qualities (± 0,67?) showed that animal M+ of class (175,36 a to 193,06 point), comparatively with the persons of the same age of М-class (125,39-149,40 point) are characterized higher indexes.

   The calculated coefficients of correlation testify to efficiency of selection-breeding work on data groups of signs.  So, the number of direct (positive) connections represents 46,42%, ranging from 0 to 0,333 - 7,69%, from 0,334 to 0,650 - 76,92%, from 0,651 to 0,999 - 15,38%.  The total of reliable communications between signs with probability Р>0,99-0,999 equals 26 or 92,85%.

   Noted regularity should be considered at a choice of the direction of selection with animals of different genotypes and their assessment on signs from average and high levels of inheritance.

Yu.V.Sasucha, S.M.Griychenko.

The results of studies on the performance metrics of sows that coupling to the ages kept in different conditions on the results of three consecutive farrowing. To achieve this goal were taken at 2 months of age 150 repair of large white breed pigs, of which formed three groups of 50 chapters each. In the control group of pigs kept on the floor partially slit. In the second experimental group animals were maintained on a fully slot floor. Pigs third experimental group were kept on deep litter uneditable. Litter served as the straw that added every day, at the rate of 0.8 kg per head.

At 8 months of age from each group of animals for insemination were selected 30 most common birds. On the secondand thirdfarrowingfor inseminationofsowswasjustthatthe previouswerefertilizedafter the firstinsemination.

As a result of the studies found that the productivity of sows farrowing in three consecutive regularly changed with age, but no significant difference in animals grown on partially slit, the slit completely floor and on deep litter in a room with controlled microclimate is not found.

M.D.Berezovskyi. Influence of maternal forms on the level of a productivity of the hybrid live-stock of pigs

It is lit up the questions which are concerned to the influence of genotypes of different form in the combination with terminal boars on the level of fattening and meat qualities of commodity hybrids.

Terminal boars are presented by the combination of genotypes ?Durok x ?Pietrain (50% x 50%). In all in the experiment it was taken 6 such boars which were brought from Hungary and 1 boar from own reproduction for the level “Bloody” of other genotypes – UM-12.5%, D-37.5 and P-50%.

Maternal forms are presented by sows of 3 genotypes: purebred (the Ukrainian Meat breed); two-bred (the combination of the Large White x Landrace) and many-bred (with the use of breeds as the Ukrainian Meat – U, Duroc – D, Pietrain – P, Landrace – L, the Large White –LW).

It has been determined that for the highness of an estimation index of terminal boars had the advantage in the combination with sows of genotype LW x L. At that such regularity was fixed almost for all boars, except one (№ 751).

V.P.Rybalko. Modern state and perspectives of improving and using pigs of the Red White belted breed

It is lit up the initial forms and methods for the stage selective process of creating the Red White belted breed of meat pigs in the article. It has been given the indexes of a development and a productivity of animals of the new population at breeding “in themselves” and also the results of their combination with oth other genotypes. Now lhey are breed in 9 Pedigree factories and pedigree farms in different regions of Ukraine. In the number of pedigree live-stock the new breed has 4 place. It yields only to the Large White breed, Landrace and the Ukrainian meet breed.

V.S.Topicha. Studing of meat qualities of pigs native and import genetic in the condition of industrial technology

In the article the data of meat qualities of pigs are given, that are used in the condition of industrial technology in the farms of the South of Ukraine in the system of crossing and hybridization for getting meat pork. It was carried out the scientific-economic tests of fattening (feeding) of thoroughbred and cross-breed animals and later on rolling carcasses of gilts at the age of 6 months with alive mass of 100 kg.

It was determined by the researches that all breeds of pigs (Ukranian meat, Duroc of the Ukranian selection “Stepnoy”, DUSS), big white of import selection, red white-belt, Pyetren, Landras, Hampshire) and their cross-breeds are characterized by the  nigh   meat qualities (content of muscle tissue in carcass is 60,4… 65,5 per cent). It later on in the system of classification of pigs for all countries-members of EU will be inculcated class S for carcasses of slaughter pigs with content of meat 60 per cent and higher, all carcasses   of research breeds and their cross-breeds will be behind by class and farms will get additional profit at the expense of high price of meat carcass accordingly. It was determined by research that two-bred cross-breeds, received from coupling of sows Duroc (DUSS) white hog Pyetren, had the meat output from one carcass – 65,5 per cent and in  cross-breeds, received from coupling of sows  of big white breed with hogs Hampshire, Duroc (DUSS),  receiving carcasses of pigs with thin pork fat and meat output from one carcass which is provided 63,8 per cent and 61,4 per cent. It was proposed that for maximum increasing of  meat output from carcasses to use the sows of  Duroc breed of interbreed type of  the Ukranian  selection “Stepnoy”, DUSS in  coupling whit hogs of Pyetren breed that provide receiving feeder young animals thing pork fat and net meat output from animal carcass (65 per cent).

For increasing production of pork  to use crossing  of female of big white import selection with hogs of specialized meat breeds – Hampshire, Duroc which provides receiving precocious young animals from one carcass – 63,8 per cent -61,4 per cent.

  The article presents the comparative characteristic reproductive qualities of the best breeding sows for a productive life and reproductive ability of breeding boars of different genotypes in breeding farms south of Ukraine. Analysis of the reproductive qualities of sows in terms of breeding farms indicates a high genetic potential of purebred animals and genotype Camboriu through adequate facilities, appropriate feeding, veterinary care and disease prevention svinopogolovja.

  Through artificial insemination can quickly improve the productive qualities of pigs due to the intensive use of breeding boars and their rapid assessment on a large number of descendants. Genotype affects the reproductive capacity of the main indicators of boars. Found that boars large white breed compared to other breeds of boars, dominated in terms of the total number of active sperm in the ejaculate – 713,6 billion for the survival of sperm – 7,5 hour. and fertilizing capacity – 88,1%. By volume of ejaculate equal 386,5 ml dominated Landrace breed boars, mobility, which was 9,2 points dominated boars genotype cantor.

Loban N.A. System of and genetic evaluation methods for fattening and meat trains of pigs

Fattening and meat traits of young pigs of Belarusian large white breed were evaluated with breeding and genetic methods. Animals were evaluated by index developed according to the meat and fattening traits (IMFT) and genotypes for IGF- 2 gene (mutation in intron 3). Analysis of studies revealed a close relationship between genotypes of IGF – 2 gene boars and IRIC gene boars (Syabr 903 (52.0 points / QQ; Skrab 5007 ( 52.79 points / qq).

N.A. Loban. Selection of Perfection of Pigs of Belarusian Great White Breed

Results of selection work with Belarusian great white breed for the period of 2007-2010 was analyzed. Perfect dynamics of pedigree animals development and stable tendency of reproductive, fattening and meat indices was determined. So multiple pregnancy for the accounting period increased at 0,15 piglets and 1,4 %, the average weight gain at fattening - at 26 g or 3,5 %, ham weight – at 0,3 kg or 2,8 %. The general profit for the accounting period made 7,6 million USD.

S.L.Voytenko, L.V.Vishnevsky. Monitoring lines, as components of the rocks in pig breeding

Filed with the distribution of the breeding lines 11 breeds of pigs in Ukraine, in addition to the large black and established areas of cultivation corresponding breed. In all areas of the country posted breeding farm on cultivation of pigs of large white breed and Landrace. Single economy contain breeding pigs breeds Ukrainian steppe Ryaba and Ukrainian steppe white, Wales, Duroc, Petrin.  The largest number of lines and boars are concentrated in large white breed and Landrace with significant violations of conducting breeding records that are in the wrong records pet names, the presence of one breed lines of another, the minimum number of animals in line and others. Controlled possible to consider the situation with a genealogical structure of domestic breeds of pigs, breeding in coordinated research institutions. But in domestic pigs breeds is marked reduction in the number of lines and the individuals in them, which negatively affects the conservation of the population. The marked increase in the number of animals foreign selection in most numerical pig breeds of Ukraine that is rapidly replacing the national gene pool. As an alternative to the stabilization of pig breeding of Ukraine may be: the creation of a single national information-breeding centre in pig production, the establishment of a limited number selection-hybrid centers who by their own programs, or in partnership with leading international companies, will be engaged in creation of specialized genotypes on hybrid basis; reduction of the number of breeding farms on cultivation of pigs of large white breed and Landrace; translation of subjects breeding in pigs, which are bred numerical not breed in category genofonda stud or sanctuaries.

S.L.Voytenko, M.A.Petrenko, B.S.Schaferivsky.Feeding quality purebred and hybrid pigs depending on their origin

Shows the status of pig breeding in Ukraine, according to which in the first quarter of 2014, the total number of livestock in all categories of farms was 8010 thousand heads, and in agricultural enterprises - 3860 thousand. Daily growth of pigs in all categories of farms in the above period amounted 465 g.

The results of pigs, resulting from the combination of different breeds of meat direction of productivity French and German selection, point to the possibility of obtaining average growth at the level 570,4...775,6g and achievements of animal live weight of 100 kg for 163,6... 192,4 day. It is established, that the most intensive growth was observed in young animals obtained at: interbreed selection of sows of Landrace French selection with grunts of this breed German selection; the breeding sows of Landrace French selection with grunts synthetic line Maxter and large white breed French selection, breeding females of Landrace French selection with grunts Landrace breeds and pietren German selection and Queens of large white breed French selection with breed Landrace German selection. The use of the young, received at the above options intra-and cross rebounds boars and Queens French and German selection, together with the appropriate level of feeding will increase the profitability of the industry.

  At each stage of selective process, with using received methods of outlook evaluation, animal productivity, sperm density evaluation, activity and concentration, must be conduct more profound, modern investigations with morphological and genetical potential evaluation of male and female sexual sells, in dependency at figurated, aged and breed features. For scruting biological and gemetical features investigate native sperm modern meal breeds boars in comparison with features of Sus scrofa ferus sexual sells, that is genetical root in locative and international swine breed creation. Herewith, with morphological, genetical indexes of sperm were scrutined too. Herewith, method of interferentional microscoping, that allows designate size, dry mass of sperm heads, DNA quantity and various defects in structures of sperms, was used. Size and structure of owulum were scruted with a big white breed female swine age. Investigations shows, that at dry mass Sus scrofa ferus  and domestic breed boars sperm heads diversity is not so much, but at proportion of DNA and protein in sperm head and variation of defects in structures of sexual sells observing more essential diversities. For width of sperm heads and length of middle parts take place reliable advantage in boars Sus scrofa ferus. Method of interferention microscoping allows dependably mensurating qualitative indexes of sperm in dependency at figurated and breed features.

L. Gryshyna. The use of mathematical modeling for forecasting live weight pigs of different genotypes

A comparative analysis of growth curves for model Bridges in ages 0-2 months. and 1-3 months is conducted.  Intuitively is demonstrated the feasibility of using to predict future values of live weight per age period 1-3 months advantage of this model and  it has virtually the same theoretical and empirical values of live weight. This indicates the possibility of using this model for the prediction of live weight and linear measurements of animals, based on data for the initial period of ontogenesis. Along with Bridges model the Richards model was used to describe the growth of animals. In our studies, we used the Richards model to predict live weight of pigs at 6 months, based on their performance by 1-3 months. Kinetic parameters and the exponential growth rate, mainly determine the type of curve. It is established that Richards model with high accuracy describes and predicts the live weight of pigs reached 100 pounds. Evaluation deviation of theoretical and actual curves indicates that the use of Richards models provides for all evaluated genotypes 2,93-4,75% level for the actual data and 3,85-6,26% - with predictable growth curve. The conducted study of the effectiveness of the use of mathematical models to describe the process of growth of pigs of different genotypes showed that the optimal model is the use of Bridges (6 periods), which describe with precision allows to predict the dynamics of live weight in subsequent ages. Richards model also accurately describes the age dynamics of body weight, but is less suitable for forecasting

Despite the fact that pork for religious reasons and other reasons, do not use some of the nation and even some regions of the globe, in the world's total production of meat in slaughter weight, it accounts for more than 40 percent.

Priority is given to the breeding of pigs due to their essential biological and economic features: twins, earliness, economical use of feeds, omnivorous, suitability slaughter products for various food products of daily use and long-term preservation. [1].

Porcine is biologically valuable food product has a high calorific value and great taste. Histiology structure muscle tissue of pigs correlated with quantitative and qualitative indicators of meat productivity of animals. The quality of meat depends largely on the structure of muscle tissue, and this figure is considered one of the breed characteristics.

The interrelation of muscle tissue in animals of different species, their hybrids and hybrids gives you the opportunity to use these data as an additional criterion in assessing the quality of meat. To assess the meat productivity is important to know exactly the ratio of tissue fibers in the individual muscles that affect the palatability of pork.

In this article highlights research histostructure longest back muscles and biceps femoris of red pig with white belt, as they are the most valuable in nutritionally. Established that the longest back muscle - muscle dynamic type, and biceps femoris - dynamo static type; found that the development of structural elements of muscle tissue is largely dependent on muscle function and their location; longest muscle of the back and biceps femoris perform different functions.

Yu. I. Shulga . Comparative characteristic of different methods of value of  breeding evaluation of pigs

In pig breeding of Ukraine is still dominant methods for evaluating the productive qualities of the animals only by their phenotype, which is only for the index of their own productivity. This is one of the main reasons for the loss of two or three generations desired productive qualities of breeding pigs. Today there are sufficient number of appropriate statistical methods that are based on their own productivity (phenotype) suggest a genetic predisposition to a particular productivity (breeding value). One such method is the method of BLUP (Best Linear Unbiased Prediction).

 This article presents the results of evaluation of the animals Ukrainian Steppe White and Ukrainian Meat pig breeds by their own productivity indicators, quality offsprings and index selection, including a comprehensive assessment of the instructions appraisal pigs index estimates the meat and fattening qualities by B.Tayler and M.D.Berezovskyi and also BLUP method.

Determined correlation coefficients between parameters of different assessment methods and selection featured in the valuation method of controlling animal breeding and fattening. It was established that the rate of assessment of young pigs BLUP method significantly correlated with performance index assessment and evaluation for complex traits. However, the highest correlation coefficients in the evaluation of young stock Meat Ukrainian and Ukrainian Steppe White on its own set of productivity evaluation index for average daily gain and thick bacon (r = 0,577 ... 0,671), and the quality of offspring evaluation index for energy growth and thick bacon ( r = 0,384 ... 0,636).

H.I. Kalynychenko, O.A.Koval, E.I.Petrova, A.I.Kyslynska. Fattening and slaughter qualities of Pig young animals of different selection

The results of research of feeding slaughter and meat qualities of thorough-breed pig young animals of big white breed pigs of English selection as well as young animals, obtained from combination of pigs of this breed with specialized meat breeds such as Landras, Duroc and Pyetren.

It was determined that my most high indices of feeding, slaughter and meat qualities distinguished the young animals of combination big white x Landras x Pyetren.

The lowest indices of precocity were characterized the thoroughbred gilts of big white breed — 190,3 days, which yield by this index to young animals of II, III, IV test groups accordingly for 2,5 days (P >0,999); 6,2 days (P >0,999) and 8,9 (P >0,999). The highest index of average daily increase (760,9 g) under lowest expenditure of feed (forage) for 1 kg increase (3,42 feed units) were characterized the animals of the IV group of combination (big white x Landras x Pyetren). The young animals of the third group of combination (BW х L х Duroc) also distinguished by the high average daily increase (718,5 g) and low expenditure of feed (3, 58 feed units). The highest index of slaughter output, thickness of pork fat and area of «muscle eye» were characterized in animals of the IV group. They excelled confidently the young animals of the control group as well as the II and III group by the index of slaughter output accordingly for 2,3 per cent, 1,7 per cent and 1,1 per cent by the thickness of fat pork, — for 2,2 mm; 2,3 mm and 1,2 mm by the area of „muscle eye“ — for 5,1 sm2, 3,7 sm2 and 4 sm2 .

The number of livestock bedrock used for the production of bacon - Landrace, today in Ukraine is not enough to fully meet the needs of the market. The aim was to assess bacon qualities of pigs Landrace breed with different methods of breeding and identifying optimal combinations of breeds with respectively improved performance characteristics, for the manufacture of high-quality bacon. The object of research was the dependence of the bacon qualities of pigs on their genotype and slaughter weight. Studies were used for measurements of indicators characterizing Bacon qualities of young pigs obtained from purebred Landrace breed animals and young animals resulting from direct and reciprocal crosses with Large White breed and animals intrabreed type Duroc breeding Ukrainian "Steppe". Half-carcasses of the experimental young animals various origins, different weight of conditions characterized by differences in their morphometric characteristics. Established that the value of the index of the length of bacon half was at a sufficiently high level in all experimental groups and not significantly inferior to the control group analogues, Landrace purebred animals. A similar trend found in all other indicators bacon qualities as the slaughter of 100 kg and more severe condition – 120 kg. From young animals obtained by crossing Landrace and Duroc, received carcasses as similar carcass purebred Landrace. However, more substandard carcasses were obtained from animals with genotype large white breed and Landrace. It is proved that the length of the half carcasses, the length of the bacon halves, area of "rib eye" significantly affects genotype of boar; on the measure of the width of the bacon halves was no significant impact forces of the investigated factors. Therefore, to increase the production of pork bacon is necessary to use in addition to the purebred pigs Landrace breed hybrids resulting from direct and reciprocal crossbreeding Landrace and Duroc.

On the base of for slaughter point of LTD Agrofirm “Khlibne” for slaughter qualities of animal of three groups of distributing were appraised on stress-reactivity in the post weaning period. On maintenance in the carcasses of pigs of distinction there were insignificant meat, here, the best results were got on the animal of distributing group on stress-reactivity M-. Accordingly on the animal of this group of distributing also observed and the least maintenance of fat in carcasses as compared to the animal of groups of distributing of M+ and Mo. Together with it, a level of distinctions was unreliable, both on animal with the middle level of energy of growth and on animal with more high level of energy of growth.At the estimation of morphological composition of carcasses without the account of division on energy of growth, reliable distinctions were set on maintenance to fat in the carcasses of pigs with different stress-reactivity. The animal of groups of distributing of M- differed on 0,8 kg the less indexes of maintenance of fatty fabric in carcasses as compared to the animal of groups of distributing of M+ (p < 0,05). The general level of meat of animal is certain with different stress-reactivity. The large values of index of meat were characterize animal with more high level energies of growth. Among animal with different stress-reactivity, the large values of index of meat were got on the carcasses of sapling of pigs of group of distributing of M-, both on animal with middle and by more high level of energy of growth and on the average, on all investigational animal.In relation to middle indexes on the groups of distributing on stress-reactivity the sapling of group of distributing of M+ (on animal with more high level of energy of growth) and M- (on animal with the middle level of energy to growth) differed in carcasses the most consolidated level of values of maintenance of meat, as at the calculation of coefficients of phenotypical consolidation through a root-mean-square rejection so through the coefficient of variation.In relation to the middle indexes of maintenance of meat in carcasses, on animal with the different level of energy of growth, the sapling of group of distributing of M+ (on animal with more high level of energy of growth) and M- differed the most consolidated level of indexes also (on animal with the middle level of energy of growth).

N.O.GarskaL.G.Peretiatko, A.M.Alekseieva.  Researches of the quality of pigs’ back fat depend on the line of a breed and the development of tissue components of capsules of stomach bottom

It is given the results of researches of the quality of bask fat in different lines of the Poltava Meat breed of pigs and their correlation with the development of tissue components of capsules of stomach bottom. It was determined that the number of a moisture in fat was more on 8.58% (P?0.01) in pigs of the new factory line of Aidar with adding blood of Finnish Landrace than in the present line of Efekt. A number of protein in fat of these animals was different: the most number was observed in pigs of the line of Aidar on a level 5.32%. The contain of lipids in fat depended on the line structure of a breed. It is observed the return dependence between the contain of protein and fat. A more number of fat in pigs of the line of Efekt caused a less contain of protein. These animals had probably higher the number of soaping lipids and an iodine number comparatively with the line of Aidar on 20.09 and 8.935 accordingly. The histiological picture of stomach was of one type for all research lines. At the same time it is observed the differences in some cases at the determination of morphometrical indexes. Pigs of the present line of the Poltava Meat breed (Efekt) had physical advantage almost for all research indexes. The likely difference was determined for the index of thickness of under mucous base. The advantage of pigs of the line of Efekt was 15.3% (P?0.05). The thickness of under mucous base in these pigs was within the confines of 298.092-366.850 mcm, and in animals of the line of Aidar this index was within the confines 213.850-342.544 mcm. The calculation of coefficients of the correlation showed the presence of connections between the quality of back fat and the structure of the stomach capsule in pigs. It was determined that all research indexes of the quality of fat are connected with the thickness of under mucous layer of the stomach. So, a moisture, a number of protein, a number of soaping lipids in fat have r=0.58 (P?0.05), an iodine number – r=0.57 (P?0.05), an index of fat and protein r=0.58 (P?0.05).

The results of scientific researches are expounded on the study of of the longest muscle of the back of pigs. The purpose of work was a study of of the longest muscle of the back of pigs of large white, red breeds, and also their cross-breeds. It was hammered in pigs at achievement by them living mass 100 kg Material for research was taken at the backwall of animals from the longest muscle of the back. On the got preparations studied development of muscular fibres, form, structure, size and placing of kernels, in a muscular fibre, development of muscular bunches and connecting fabric.

The conducted researches testify that for pigs at achievement 100 kg of living mass in the longest muscle of the back prevail the muscular fibres of form 40-50 mkm. Rarer there are the rounded and oval fibres. In muscular fabric of pigs for certain greater diameter of muscular fibres. The analysis of rotined, that in the layers of connecting fabric the accumulations of fatty cages happen between muscular fibres and pinches. Information is got allow to draw a conclusion, that neutral is here localized. Biometrical treatment of histological experiments and materials of the productivity of animals enabled to set positive correlation between an average daily increase and diameter of muscular fibres, between the area of «muscular bee-entrance» and fibres, between the area of «muscular bee-entrance» and percent of muscular fabric in the transversal cut of muscle, and also negative correlation between the charges of forage and fibres.

Dynamics of body weight sows in pregnant and lactating periods, their reproductive indicators suggest that feeding them new silicon-containing additives "Corethron" and "Biocorethron" strengthens the processes of assimilation in the body, has a positive effect on the embryonic and post-embryonic growth, development and preservation of their offspring. The most pronounced of these changes are observed in the use of food additives "Biocorethron".

H.S.Rudoman,  V.N.Balatskyi.  Genetic structure of pigs of the Large White breed of the Ukrainian and English selection for genes FUT1 and MUC4, associated with resistance of animals to colibacteriosis

 The results of DNA typing of pigs of the Large White breed of English selection and the intra breed types of the Ukrainian Large White breed  1 and 3 for FUT1 locus andMUC4locus which is associated with the resistance of animals to colibacteriosis are presented.It has been determined the allocation of frequencies of alleles and genotypes, a heterozygosis level and a fixation index. For locus of gene FUT1 high levels of direct and expected heterozygosity had Ukrainian Large White type І and the  Large White of English selection. The analysis of distribution of different genotypes of gene FUT1 has shown domination of genotype GA (0,320-0,560) among investigated populations. On locus MUC4 the highest level of direct heterozygosity was observed in population of pigs the Large White of English selection. The analysis of distribution of genotypes on gene MUC4 testifies to prevalence of genotypes GG and GC in all populations.  For the  Large White breed of English selection and Ukrainian Large White type I statistically authentic deviation offrequencies of genotypes from their expected distribution is found agrees Hardу-Weinberg law. The presence polymorphism of these genes affords the possibility to perform a marker selection with the aim of the creating of genetically resistant herds of animal to intestinal infection.

Inventory gene pools for their rational use are one of the most important initial stages of genetic markers. The aim of our study was to evaluate the level of intra- and interbreed genetic differentiation of local breeds of pigs – Duroc (D), Ukrainian Meat (UM), Ukrainian White Steppe (USB) and Ukrainian Speckled Steppe (USR). Material studies performed genetic polymorphism of 12 DNA microsatellite loci (SW24, S0155, SW72, SW951, S0386, S0355, SW240, SW857, SW0101, SW936, SW911 and S0228). The total number of test animals was 308 goals. Estimates of genetic distances indicate that the most genetically differentiated breeds of pigs are D and USB (genetic distance is DN = 0,576), and the least – UM and USR breeds (genetic distance is DN = 0,159). Assignment-test results of four local breeds of pigs Ukraine indicate a high degree of genetic differentiation with an adequate level of consolidation. By «not own» the population were classified as 2,2% of the animals D breed, 7,9% – UM breed, 6,1% – USB breed. Animals of USR breed have all been attributed to «their» population. When allocating an array of animals studied (n = 308) into two clusters, one of the clusters formed almost exclusively of animals D breed. The remaining three breeds were included in the second cluster. When allocating an array of animals studied into three clusters – remains stable cluster formed animals D breed. Furthermore, clearly distinguished cluster formed USB breed. The third cluster mainly comprise animals of UM breed. However, among the array of animals of this breed can clearly be seen on the separation of the two clusters that coincide with different tribal affiliation animal farms.

The efficiency of pig breeding is largely determined by the level of reproductive traits. The purpose of the research was to conduct a comparative analysis of the factorial conditioning reproductive traits of sows of Large White breed. The object of the research was dependent reproductive traits of sows of Large White breed English and Hungarian selection of their origin and age. Studies were used for retrospective data results farrows 56 sows of English breeding and 61 sows of Hungarian breeding. Found that the influence of the origin and age, and their combined effect on various features of the reproductive qualities of sows is different. Origin of sows has significant impact on mortality piglets and the number of piglets at weaning, their average live weight and weight of the litter as a whole. Thus, sows English and Hungarian breeding probably differ in maternal qualities, as well as the level of milk yield. The greatest evidence of reproductive traits (6 out of 9 studies) depend on the age of the sows. The most significant is the impact of this factor on the total number of piglets at birth, weight of letter at birth, the number and weight of piglets at weaning. The effect of age was also sows farrow and their average weight of piglets at weaning. Significant joint influence of both factors identified mainly on mass indices of reproductive qualities – piglet weight at birth and the total weight of the litter at birth, as well as on the number and weight of piglets at weaning litter. The indicator in the safety of piglets suckling period we have not found any influence origin sows nor age nor the joint effect of both these factors. Obviously, this reproductive traits mainly depends on technological factors.

As a result of cost-effectiveness analysis it was determined that at transition from STB 988-2002 to GOST R 53221-2008 proceeds from the sale of pork in live weight decreased to 1641-2088 thousand rubles, or by 3.6-5.5 p.p., the average realizable value decreased by 2.7 percentage points.

A.A. Balnikov. Growth characteristics of young pigs of different genotypes

The studies helped to determine that young crossbred animals of combination Y?L (BM? Y)?D grew more intensively during the suckling period and fattening period, and less intensively in the group of weaners. Piglets of these combinations slowly adapted to both change in the period range (21-29 days) and in the post weaning period.

V.P.Rybalko, G.A.Birta, Yu.G.Burgu.Physical and chemical properties of fat of Pigs of red bilopoyasoy of Breed

The results of researches are expounded on the study of physical and chemical properties of fat of pigs of red білопоясої of breed. In the tests of fat determined such indexes: general moisture, protein, content of fat, temperature of melting, number of refraction, iodic number. The conducted researches testify that with age of animals takes place some changes in physical and chemical properties of backbone fat. Notedly general moisture diminishes in fatty fabric of animals; the amount of dry matter increases in her, the amount of protein diminishes in fat from 2,47 to 1,57% and content of fat rises in him from 88,77 to 91,74% in 8-monthly age. With age of animals the size of iodic number goes down from 66,76 in 6-monthly to 61,88 in 8-monthly age which testifies to diminishing of amount of unsaturated and increase of amount of the saturated fat acids in fat.

The set negative correlation is between the percent of fat in backbone fat and amount of protein, by the percent of fat and general humidity, iodic number and temperature of melting. So in fat of the castrated men of 6-monthly age more moisture and protein less fat, than for the piggy-wiggies of the same age. Iodic number of fat of the castrated men below than for piggy-wiggies. In 8-monthly age humidity diminishes in fat of the castrated men, percent of protein and the percent of fat rises. Finding testify that fat of piggy-wiggies differs small what from fat of the castrated men which held back in the identical terms of maintenance and feeding.

A.M.Shostia, S.O.Usenko. Basic results and perspectives of the development of fundamental researches in Pig Breeding field in Ukraine

It was lit up the basic directions of fundamental researches and their results, that directed on solving the urgent problems of pig breeding field. Scientists worked out the model of a determination of the adaptive pedigree value of pigs for features of reproductive ability and created the new method of the determination of economic weighty coefficients for features which don’t have the direct cost expression and which will be used successfully in breeding pigs. For domestic and import breeds of pigs it has been determined essential levels of the correlation of different genes with the resistance to diseases, productive and meat qualities of animals. The new effective method for the internal uterine insemination of pigs, that gives the possibility to carry out disposable insemination, to reduce essentially the number of spermatozoa and dilution was theoretically substantiated, constructed and tested in practice. For the successful cultivation of oocite cumulus complexes of pig in vitro it was created methods which are characterized by changeable parameters of temperature and pH of the medium. It has been worked out the technology of non surgical embryo transplantation of pigs, that ensures to 20% their surviving and it was also found out reasons of decreasing obtained results. It has been created the complex preparation “Tsyvitar”, which normalizes the function of immune cells and ensures animals with fat soluble vitamins, amino acids and microelements. It has been worked out the vaccine “Velshikolisan” which protects simultaneously from anaerobic dysentery, infection enterotocsemy, swell disease, colybacterios in pigs. It has been created the new system of the giving a diagnosis of a kind identification of an pathogen of ensotic encefalomielit (Teshen’s disease) of this kind of animals. It has been worked out the calculation analytical mechanism of the prediction of working enterprises with pork production at the change of technological decisions, that allows to increase the efficiency of using feed-stuff resources in 1,2 times and production areas in 1,5-1,7 times.

O.O.Kravchenko.Efficiency of using different dilutions of boars sperm

The article presents the comparative characteristic effects of using different media BTS (Germany), CRONOS (Italy) and modified hypercapnic environment GTSHV for dilution of boar semen producers. Studied the effects of insemination and farrowing sows which artificially inseminated with the sperm of the same boars, which was diluted with commercial environment. Found that match the quality of the artificial medium, stored for 3 days and the viability of the sperm 's ability to fertilize have preservative properties, easy to manufacture and use. Significant difference in terms of fertilization after the first insemination of sows with semen diluted environment are investigated. Investigated, that the greatest amount of business piglets – 9,86 obtained from sows that were inseminated with sperm diluted GTSHV environment, compared with diluent CRONOS – 9,85 and ВTS – 9,12. Maximum weight of piglets at birth slot – 14,79 kg installed using semen extender CRONOS further by using a diluent GTSHV – 14,61 kg and using ВTS – 13,50 kg.

In this experiment we used 2 medium: glucose-chelating citrate-sulphate (GHTSS) and experimental GHTSAN environment composed of ammonium sulfate instead of sodium acetate introduced.

When this medium was diluted with distilled and redistilled water.

Found that replacement in the medium GHTSS ammonium sulfate to sodium acetate had a positive effect on the diluted boar semen and reproductive performance of sows.

According to the research found that the composition of the medium has a greater effect on the reproduction than the degree of purification of water.

The use of preparations based on the phospholipids of animal due to the fact that belong to the class of phospholipids specialized lipids which are components of cell membranes of microorganisms, plants and animals.

Currently essential phospholipids are widely used , including animals , primarily for the treatment of liver disease , increasing the overall resistance of the body.

However, due to the fact that new properties have been discovered of phospholipids , it was possible to use them to improve the quality of semen and fertility .

The experiments revealed that feeding essential phospholipids breeding boars with low sperm motility and the presence of pathological forms of spermatozoa This improved sexual reflex, qualitative and quantitative indicators of sperm and fertility of sows .

The best performance obtained when fed drug Mosletsitin 5 g twice daily with food for 3 months.

S. Semenov, S. Zinoviev, O. Bindyg, I. Bankovska, S. Korinny. Monitoring the presence of genetic structure modifications and zootechnical composition of grain raw material of Poltava Region

Biotechnological techniques today allow for manipulation at the level of individual genes or even their blocks. These latest technological methods seemingly leads to a rapid, pronounced adverse effects on human health and environment, but the main potential danger they may be in the long-term consequences. Moreover, now in the world of science is enough data to suggest that there is potential and actual biological risks during the commercial use of transgenic plants.

The aim of the study was to monitor the spread of GMO vegetable origin in the potential of animal feed raw material base for several years and analyze the individual values of the chemical composition of genetically modified and conventional grain forage crops. Study on the presence of genetically modified structures in samples of feed were carried out in the laboratory of genetics and chemical composition analysis in the zootechnical laboratory Institute of pig breeding and agroindustrial production the National academy of аgricultural sciences of Ukraine. Samples were taken from commercial parties’ grain and forage enterprises - traders, elevators, CBP, HSP and other procurement organizations and feed mill Poltava region.

As a result of this work a database on the spread of GM ingredients in the potential mixed feed raw materials. The samples of grain: wheat 118 - GMO markers have been identified; Corn 188 - found 2 (1.06%); soybean 85 - found 11 (13 %); Sunflower 12 - not detected; Rape 24 - found 1 (4.2 %). In sugar beet, rye, barley, dry granular pulp (1 - 2 samples) GMO markers have been identified.

In the laboratory analysis the chemical composition of samples 53 varieties and hybrids of cereals, legumes and industrial crops, fodder and BVD. Identified species and varietal differences in the chemical composition of grain destined for animal feed preparation. Established discrepancy amounts of crude protein and nitrogen-free extract, respectively in wheat 9 to 16%; 60 - 70%; corn 8 – 11 %; 67 – 70 %; barley 8 – 12 %; 63 – 70 %; Sunflower 18 – 20 %; 26 – 27 %; soybean 23 – 43 %; 7 – 30 %; peas 19 – 23 %; 49 – 53 %; millet 10 – 11 %; 51 – 58 %.

The new fodder bioprotector “Optilak” (the water-soluble concentrate on the base of lactic acid from the national producer  PC “Plant of lactic acid” Kyiv, ТC U 10.9-00382119-002:2013) in the system watering the lactating sows and sucking piglets before their weaning in 45 days with further monitoring during 15days under conditions of the pedigree enterprise was studied.

Using the bioprotector – 2% solution of the concentrate “Optilak” promoted to the tendency of increasing multifertility of sows to 4-8%, weight of litter at weaning in 45 days to 10 -12%, increased the gain of live weight of piglets to 18 % and also the index their preservation to 40%. In general it was received the increase of net profit on one sow from the realization of piglets almost in 2 times at a comparative increasing the level of a profitability on 21% (41.5 -20.1% in control). The highest economic effectiveness was marked at using the experimental preparation “Optilak” –in the system of watering the sucking piglets.

Zinoviev S.G. Vovk V.A., Skarednov D.Y. Effeect of different feed soy production technologies on backfat thickness in Pigs

The current economic situation requires producers of meat, grain and feed of new approaches to intensification of production, product quality, high level of service and management. The general solution seems to find ways to reduce the cost of animal feed, while improving their quality. In this respect, promotion and implementation of advanced extrusion technology - a serious argument for scientific and technological support for the modernization of the domestic feed production, feed optimization framework pig farms based on advanced technologies using local resources priorities, including soybeans. In addition, the relevant comparison is the question of the accuracy of the thickness of bacon pigs in different ways.

Consequently, the aim of our study was to compare the effect of different soybean forage production technologies for thick bacon pigs, and compare the effectiveness of using different ways of measuring it.

This was a scientific and economic research on the number of pigs analogues Poltava meat breed in the number of 48 goals. In vivo measurement of the thickness of the bacon was performed using ultrasound devices «Draminski» (Poland) and «Piglog 105» (Denmark) at 6-7 thoracic vertebrae. The slaughter of animals was carried out when they reach the weight of 100 kg. Measuring the thickness of bacon performed post mortem on chilled half-millimeter pigs using log scale on 6-7 thoracic vertebrae. Statistical analysis of the data was performed using Microsoft Exel and software Statistica 8.0.

Pigs experimental groups receiving feed containing incorporates soy lard thickness was slightly lower than in the control group of animals that feed as a protein eating sunflower meal. By using the same conditions Piglog 105 ultrasound scanner detect a smaller thickness than lard Draminski. Thickness lard Post mortem determined on half-chilled after slaughter pigs was more than determined in vivo using ultrasound scanners. The data, namely calculated coefficients of variation that are within 12-24%, and the pair of linear coefficients of Pearson correlation, in our opinion, indicate that the accuracy of measuring the thickness of lard pigs can be quite varied depending on quite a few factors.

A.O. Onyshchenko, O.K. Bitlian. Study of the influence from an effect of different concentration of premixes on growth and development of young pigs

It was studied the influence from an effect of different concentration (1.0, 0.5, 2.0 and 5.0%) of premix KC-5 in the contain of the basic diet on growth and development of young pigs of the Large White breed at the age of 2-4 months. Obtained results of the growth indexes and consuming feed-stuffs by young  pigs with the addition of 1.0,; 0.5; 2.0 and 5,0 % of premix KC-5 to the composition of economical diet witnessed their positive influence on growth and development of animals. For results of the dynamics  of a gain of live weight, average daily gains, absolute and relative gains it was received the best results in the group of animals which got 2.0%  of premix in the contain of a diet. Specifically in this group the average daily gain consisted of 434.5 g that was higher of this index in the control group on 75.5 g. At that it was not received the expected significant increase of the productivity of young pigs in a group, which were got 5.0% of premix and the average daily gain was 421.5 g.

V.A.Roschin. Modern standards of  content of metabolizable energy and essential amino acids in compound feeds for young pigs

It was determined that main factors of valuation usefulness of compound feeds for pigs are the level of metabolizable energy and the amount of lysine per 1 MJ of metabolizable energy. In this case a necessary condition is to comply with the correlation ratio of other essential amino acids with lysine.

Balancing animal compound feeds by essential amino acids taking into account their availability promote a significant increase of live weight of weaners and pigs at rearing by 9.9% and at fattening - by 4.2%, with reducing of feed costs by 10.4-11.5% compared to compound feeds calculated by detailed feeding standards. With that the metabolizable energy cost per 1 unit of protein deposit in the body of pigs is reduced by 14.4%.

I.M.Ksyonz. Veterinary service in the pig breeding branch: state and prospects

Main problems of the pig breeding branch are touched upon. Particularly, assessment is given to the three groups of diseases (infectious, invasive and noninfectious). The main reasons of their emergence and ways of their prevention are under consideration. The basic measures are presented for providing the epizootic safety, one of them being the basic principle of the “closed type farm”. The problem is also raised concerning the alternative to antibiotics means of pig treatment, which are preparations raising the immune status of animals. They are immunomodulators created on the basis of low-molecular peptides and RNA fragments, synthetic amino-acids, biogenic stimulators of natural origin, a number of interferons, formalin micro-doses. The results of their application studies testify to their positive effect on the animal organism.

D.M. Hodosovskyi. System of measures to decrease leaving young pigs on the long acting complexes

It is given the results of work with working out the scheme for the use of biological active and disinfection substances at rearing young pigs on the long acting industrial complex which has over normative loss of young pig by way of reasons of “biological tiredness” of buildings.

As a result of carried out researches it was determined that for decreasing not production leaving  and increasing average daily gains of piglets on the long acting  industrial complex it is necessary to use preparations for acidify, probiotics and antistress preparations through  the watering system by the way of ingectors with hydraulic driving (modificators), and also to carry out the disinfection with the presence of animals by a preparation “Stalosan F” during two adjacent days before a week and at diarrhea in young pigs in the housing place that gives the possibility to increase the average daily gains on 20-31 g (P<0.05). to decrease leaving and rejecting piglets on 1.2-1.4%/

The questions of a probable change of the economic expediency to use feed-stuffs with different degree of the balance and a level of average daily gains are considered in the article. It has been opened the question: what is more economic expedient – high gains at the use  of expensive feed-stuffs or lower – at the use of cheaper one.

The appliance of computer equipment and special worked out programs allows to carry out effectively modeling the development of certain processes, including works of some enterprises with the production of pig breeding products. Using computer equipment and worked out program means it is possible to perform the calculations for variants of working enterprises with the production of pig breeding products at the use of diets of different degree of the balance with simultaneous determination of the economic efficiency of their appliance. Only the change of a correlation of fodder ingredients in fodder mixtures allows to increase average daily gains not less than on 50g almost without changing the cost of one ton of feed-stuff. The previous estimation of the economic efficiency of conducting pig breeding field allows to save not only invested money in the field, but increasing them and avoiding most possible risks.

O.L.Narizhna. Slaughter  qualities of purebred and hybrid young pigs which were received at the combination of sows of Large White breed with terminal and purebred boars of different genotypes

These figures slaughter traits of hybrid young pigs obtained from sows combination of large white breed of foreign origin with boars species - the Large White (control group) and experimental groups (II, III, IV, V, VI) - Landrace, Pietren, terminal boars - Maxter 16,  Maxter 304,  Landrace x Duroc x Hempshire). Results and landed thoroughbred slaughter calves showed that slaughter pigs out of all groups ranged from 71,35 – 74,12 %, the thickness of  bacon – 23,2 – 28,2 mm, corps – 92,4 – 101,2 cm, mass posterior third corps – 11,2 – 12,85 kg, the area "muscle cell " – 32,12 – 38,15 cm2.

Improving of indicators reproductive traits is one of the actual problems of pig breeding. Therefore, development of methods of increasing the accuracy of estimates of breeding and productive features of animals and predicting their genetic potential is relevant. The main prerequisite for the development of these techniques is to assess the effectiveness of existing methods and principles of selection. Analyze of parameters changes of reproductive traits of Large White sows for three successive generations (P, F1 and F2), provided the traditional selection of gilts was the purpose of this work. Historical data for the first four farrowing of 40 Large White sows generation P and 74 animals – F1 offspring and 19 goals – the descendants of F2 has been estimated. Investigations we make  for zootechnical conventional techniques. It was found that the highest total number of pigs at birth was sows of parent generation.However, a statistically significant advantage over their own daughters (F1) and granddaughters (F2) was only on the results of the second farrowing.By the number born alive piglets also sows the parental generation (P) surpassed their descendants. In the first farrowing difference between animals of three successive generations was not significant, and with the increasing age of the animals, it increased. On an indicator the proportion of stillborn piglets statistically significant differences between animals of different generations is not installed. Sows F1 and F2 generations inferior animals P generation and of the total litter weight at birth.Also showed a reduction in each successive generation reproductive qualities of all of indicators that are defined at weaning piglets.Thus, the traditional (only phenotypic) estimated of the reproductive traits of sows and selection of gilts on its basis not conducive to improving the genetic potential of animals.

O.Yu.Kanyuka. Comparative characteritics of Pigs muscle different localization of their protein constitutes

One of the most important in the biological chemicals are proteins. Nutritional value of meat is primarily determined by the presence in it of protein components, which make up the plastic materials and energy for the human body. Ratio of tissue that make up the meat, reflects the main consumer of its properties. In connection with the introduction of technological changes and advances modern pig breeders, you must pay attention to the protein component of muscle pigs, in fact it causes in most cases the quality of products.

Currently, there is no doubt the need for more extensive studies of the protein composition of muscle tissue of pigs most common species in Ukraine as Landrace and Large White.

Investigated muscle tissue of pigs for meat production efficiency - Landrace and Large White English selection (eunuchs). Prototypes were taken from muscle pair pig carcasses under slaughterhouse enterprise "Tauride bacon" ZAO "Freedom Farm Bacon" Kherson. Slaughter live weight of pigs was within 96-112 kg. Investigated muscle pigs semimembranosus, longissimus dorsi, ventral serratus, the rectus abdominis, costal part of the diaphragm, trapezius.

There were significant differences in total protein content and its water-, salt-, alkali-soluble fractions in different muscles (semimembranosus, longissimus dorsi, ventral serratus, the rectus abdominis, costal part of the diaphragm, trapezius). Interbreed (Landrace and Large White English selection) differences of protein content and its fractions in the corresponding listed muscles found.

Analysis of experimental data shows that the largest share of all muscle proteins takes alkali-soluble fraction. Longissimus dorsi and costal part of the diaphragm have more than salt-soluble water-soluble proteins, and the Leg is almost the same level of these proteins. These muscles may have a higher nutritional value than other muscles studied.

The basic results of studies on the effect of different feeding conditions on the performance of young pigs intensity of its growth. In the 63-day age on an unparalleled formed three groups of pigs: control and two experimental, on 30 goals each. The experiment lasted 16 weeks and was divided into two periods. Equalizing during the experiment lasted 14 days, during which the pigs received dry complete feed two times a day. In the main experiment period lasting 98 days in young animals in the control group remained the same feeding conditions as in egalitarian period, and animals 2- and 3-rd experimental groups were fed respectively two and four times a day with liquid animal feed that had been diluted with water at a ratio of 1:3 by weight. Established that manor fattening young pigs German selection, which fed the 77 - to 175-day age on liquid feed, compared with their peers who received complete feed in dry form had significantly greater live weight at removal of the feeding intensity of its growth was higher and age achieve a live weight of 100 kg less.

The article is describes the characteristics of reproductive traits of sows of Large White breed and crossbreeds of Large White breed and landrace, as well as their impact on milk production. Among the reproductive traits of sows such as multiple pregnancy, milking, number of piglets at weaning at age 30 days, the live weight of piglets at weaning at the age of 30 days. Defined was functional state breast sows during lactation, operational and non-dummies. The data was indicate that the sow gives birth to more pigs than teats is functioning, part of piglets should be transplanted to the nurse sows having fewer piglets per litter and all applicable nipples breast. According to the research found that pigs that were grown under the Large White breed and landrace sows were more viable and showed the best performance in pigs of large white breed.
